In the spirit of the previous editions, the 5th edition of the International Conference on Tourism and Innovation is a space for debate open to all disciplines to discuss problems, solutions and issues related to innovation in the tourism sector. It is open to academics and professionals. This call is an invitation to deepen reflection in the field of innovation, in one of the most strategic sectors, through both theoretical and practical contributions.

This edition is part of a Toubkal project between Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech and Clermont-Auvergne University in Clermond-Ferrand. The conference is open to all researchers, PHD students and tourism professionals and aims to create a space of debate and discussion around tourism innovation. The presentation of studies, projects and experiences in the field of innovation in tourism must be in French, English, Spanish or Arabic can be presented either in Arabic, French, English and Spanish, around the following axes (non-exhaustive list):

-          Innovation strategies in tourism;

-          Technological innovations in tourism;

-          Artificial intelligence in tourism;

-          Tourism and social networks;

-         Tourism and innovation s in  and sustainable development;

-          Tourism and territorial innovation;

-          Organizational innovation and management of tourism companies;

-          Tourism, resilience and crisis management;

-          Innovation and training in tourism;

-          Innovation and heritage;

PHD students: 1000 MAD

Professors and researchers : 1500 MAD

Accompanying person : 500 MAD

For Online sessions

PHD students : 500 MAD

Professors and researchers : 1000 MAD 

Registration Process:

• Registration on the platform;
• Submission of the abstract;
• Response from the scientific committee;
• Payment of registration fees;
• Transfer of copyright (digitized form) (only for accepted authors);
• Submission of the final version of the article after revision and corrections if necessary.

Notification TO AUTHORSOctobre 30th, 2024

SUBMISSION OF THE FINALE PAPER: November 10th,  2024

Abstracts should not exceed one page including a title, the names of the authors and their affiliations, a single email address of the corresponding author, a 450-word abstract and 5 keywords. All submitted abstracts must be original and not published or submitted elsewhere. Accepted papers will be published in a book after being submitted to the scientific committee after payment of the registration fees. (*) A template of the paper will be sent to the authors after acceptance by the scientific committee.
